Native American Navajo necklace designed by Julian Arviso (1959-2011).
Fantastic necklace and double sided pendant, created by the Navajo-Dine native American goldsmith artist Julian Arviso, back in the 1995. This fabulous necklace has been made up in the shape of a bear with multi stones mosaic inlay, composed by turquoises, spiny oyster, onyx, lapis lazuli, opal, and coral banded in solid gold of 14 karats. This piece is suspended from a flexible necklace of graduated gold beads of yellow gold and is fitted at the ends with double security hooks.
Gemstones: Mounted in mosaic inlaid, with opals, lapis, coral, turquoises, jasper and onyx.
Weight: 127.65 Grams, (81.63 Dwt).
Size: The chain is 26 Inches (66 Cm).
Measurements: The main element is 72 mm by 73 mm by 14 mm (2.83 x 2.87 x 0.55 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "JULIAN ARVISO 14KT".
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
