A fine and impressive antique onyx and 0.72 carat diamond, platinum Art Deco pendant; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections This fine and impressive antique Art Deco pendant has been crafted in platinum. The drop style Art Deco pendant displays a feature bezel set cabochon onyx segmented into two sections, divided by a band platinum band ornamented with six Old European cut diamonds. The outer circumference of the feature cluster design is encircled with a paralleling platinum border embellished with twenty Old European cut diamonds. This feature Art Deco onyx and diamond design is suspended from an unembellished tapering setting. The pendant suspends from a contemporary 18" 18k white gold trace chain via an integrated ring loop to the upper border of the design, and secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. This impressive pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The large circular frame displays a central harlequin style three-dimensional lozenge design, ornamented with eight alternating onyx and coral panels. This impressive geometric feature design is encompassed with a large white gold halo embellished with alternating 0.15ct corals and onyxes, each cabochon cut and collet set at equalising intervals. The outer frame is further embellished with fifty-six pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 1.12cts. This pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18k white gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via a ring loop attachment to the upper border of the design. This vintage 1990s pendant is hallmarked to the reverse of the hinged bale with the 18k gold fineness mark 750 and maker's mark ES. This vintage gemstone pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card; a total carat weight of gemstones could not be calculated for the feature panelled design.
