Ancient Greek Coin in 22k Drop Pendant

About the Item

An authentic Greek Apollonia Pontika, AR Drachm Coin (Thrace, circa 450-400 BC), set in a rounded form 22k gold bezel with 22k gold drop linked chain and bail. The obverse, or front, side of this coin features the head of Gorgoneion with a protruding tongue, surrounded by serpents. On the reverse side, an upturned anchor with an "A" and a crayfish. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin. This coin pendant measures approximately 1 13/16" tall (including bail), 11/16" wide and 1/8" deep at coin/bezel and .25" deep at top/bail.
