This is a spectacular 1890 Victorian Black Onyx, Diamond, and Pearl Locket! This locket features 10 lovely rose-cut diamonds that surround one of the pearls in a lovely petal-like pattern. The stunning central oval shaped onyx panel is embellished with an impressive yellow gold eight-pointed star design. This star motif is ornamented with a feature Old European cut diamond to the center, accented with eighteen Dutch cut diamonds graduating in size, in a stellate manner. The anterior surface of the pendant is further ornamented with thirty-two impressive natural and seed pearls, segmented with black hot enamel. This stunning Victorian pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 18" curb chain via an integrated tapering bale ornamented with three further natural pearls, in addition to a black hot enamel border.
