About the Item
Please check out the HD video! This is rare, less than 5% of all jadeites are faceted. Furthermore, this pendant is designed by the very talented 15 year old Isabelle Kwon (hallmarked. please see attached photo) The icy imperial Jadeite jade pendant is certified to be natural and without any treatments. To qualify as true imperial jade, it must have BOTH strong saturations of vivid green color AND a very high degree of transparency. The total length of the pendant is about 3.6 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. The pendant is set in 18k white and yellow gold. The not often seen faceted jades weight 3.26cts. There are 9 new rose cut natural diamonds totaling 0.19cts. An 18k white gold chain will be included in this sale. Please note the color saturation is strong and therefore the pendant is not backed. The untreated / un-enhanced natural jade is icy and translucent. The jade is full of life (water). It GLOWS! You cannot get tired of looking at it. Photos do not do this pendant justice. IMPERIAL JADE
The term “imperial jade” is often misused in many jade listings because true imperial jade is extremely rare and expensive.
True imperial jade must have BOTH a strong saturation of green AND a high degree of translucency. Natural Material meeting both of these conditions is very uncommon and hardly seen. Color saturation and translucency are indirectly proportional. Material with a stronger saturation of color is more dense and less translucent. The opposite holds true as well.

Please check out the HD video! This is imperial green jade. This is certified by two labs to be natural jadeite jade. The pendant is set in 18k white gold. There is one carved imperial green jade leaf motifs and a conservative estimation of 0.75 cts of white diamonds in this setting. You can also "open" the back to see the underneath of the imperial jade. The meaning behind the jade leaf carving is that the wearer will receive good fortune and richness. This is a nice Jade pendant necklace made with an eye catching imperial green color. The leaf is very noticeable (it glows), with highly saturated green color and excellent translucency. The icy imperial green jade is simple and classic just showing off its natural beauty. The color really pops and it glows. The icy green jade also exhibits good translucency. You can see this from far away! The untreated / un-enhanced natural jade is well polished showing off its highly sort after imperial green color. An 18k white gold chain will be included in this sale. The jade itself mounted in the pendant is about 2.5cm x 1.1cm. The pendant with the mounting is slightly larger.
