GIA Certified Omphacite Jade 18K Pendant of "Imperial" Color with Diamonds, circa 1980. A very fine and fabulous jewel from the last quoter of the twentieth century. This impressive and sparkling vintage diamond Pendant, Necklace is made of fine 18k yellow gold and features one vibrant beautiful Green Omphacite Jade smooth Marquise cabochon. This green gem is a very rare Omphacite jade with a extremely hard to find translucent and even dark green color. Normally most Omphacite jade is very close to black. Omphacite jade is often traded as jadeite but they are in fact a cousin of jadeite. This pendant has been GIA Graded and is an 100% untreated natural color with no impregnation! This piece includes 57 faceted round, marquise and baguette shaped diamonds coming in at approximately 2.30 carats total diamond weight.
