Edwardian Natural Saltwater Pearl & 4.52 CTW Diamond Pendant Brooch in Platinum
About the Item
An exquisite natural pearl and diamond convertible pendant brooch in platinum.
Centered by cream colored Natural Saltwater Pearls measuring 8.93 by 8.01mm and 6.00mm. The pearls of even cream color with strong lustre and smooth surfaces.
Set in three, and four leaf clover forms are eleven antique old mine cut pear shaped diamonds of a combined 2.20 CTW.
Further accenting this brooch set throughout the scroll work motif are 2.32 CTW of pave set old mine cut diamonds.
The diamonds grade as G to H color, and VS1 to SI1 clarity with a combined total carat weight of 4.52 carats.
Accompanied by GIA report 2225741364 stating the pearls are Salt Water, Natural, and showing no indications of treatment.
Pendant tests as platinum, pin stem tests as 18 karat yellow gold.
Measurements: 2 1/2" Length by 1 3/4" Width.
Weight: 13.6 Grams.
Circa: 1900, American.
Completed by a period 16" Platinum chain with jump ring clasp.
