15k Gold Pendant Necklaces

This is a stunning antique Edwardian - Art Deco Peridot and Pink Tourmaline and Pearl Lavaliere Pendant Necklace in 15 Karat Gold. The gorgeous and full of symbolism jewel has a heart, a forget-me-not flower and a bow motif and the pendant wears the colors of the women's Suffragette movement to win the right to vote. The pendant dates to the period of the movement prior to World War I. The stunning jewel has a central rectangular faceted Peridot of approximately 1.2 Carats. The vivid green of the peridot is captivating. The lavaliere has a knife edge surround that is set with two round peridot gems and two fine Pink Tourmaline gems. These gems are absolutely radiant. All the gems are set a jour (open backed) in order to let the maximum amount of light through and enhance the radiant sparkle of the gems. The color combination of the pink-purple Tourmalines and the green Peridot is truly magical. The design of the surround has a heart in a bow motif at the top and a forget-me-not flower and leaf motif at the base. The pendant is set throughout with symbolism including the heart for love and devotion at the top, the colors of the Suffragette movement and the Forget-me-not flower at the bottom for remembrance and eternal love. The jewels are set in 15 Karat Gold. This original Victorian/Edwardian - Art Deco pendant dates to circa 1900-1910.
