About the Item
A fun vintage Art Deco silver gilt and enamel sarcophagus pendant.
A relic of the Egyptian revival era in the 1920s when everything Egyptian was the height of fashion and wonder.
This vintage silver gilt pendant is a rich golden gilt in 800 silver and enamelled front and back, it opens up and would originally contain a small mummy within but this is no longer present.
Nevertheless this still makes for an interesting pendant.

C1920s, Art Deco era, marked 800
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, minor enamel loss, missing mummy, closes slightly ajar but still holds tight.
Total weight 2.03 grams.
