Hammered workmanship has always been a hallmark of the Brandimarte company.
Hammering is a technique that gives movement to silver, making it even more alive and shiny.
The box is a pyramid with a triangular base, more correctly a tetrahedron. One of the five Platonic solids widely studied since antiquity, Plato himself in the Timaeus associates the tetrahedron with fire.
It is certainly a very difficult object to make manually with this precision.
In addition to being an extraordinary piece of furniture, it can be used as a container for an original contemporary flower arrangement.
