About the Item

A fine silver, enamel, & agate bowl. With a carved agate bowl mounted on a silver & enamel base. We're unsure about the bowl's origin, although we have a strong inclination to think that it's Austrian. The base has intricate embossed flowers in silver with enamel coloration. Simply a stylish agate object d'art! Date: 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is some glue visible at some places where the agate and silver meet -- possibly the evidence of a re-glue or repair. Otherwise, there is some edge wear to the rim of the bowl and silver mounts, some spots of losses to the enamel (particularly to the red cabochons in the center of the flowers), some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Marks: Unmarked Measurements: Diameter: ca. 4 in. Height: ca. 2 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you. Purchases may be returned for any reason for a period of 7 days.
