THIS IS A SUPERB ANTIQUE AUSTRIAN VIENNA BRONZE OF TWO BUNNY RABBITS HOLDING A CARROT. This wonderful antique Austrian Vienna Bronze (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze, Cold Painted Bronze) dates to circa 1900-1930. The bronze is of the highest quality of Vienna Bronzes with superb modeling and expression. The bronze is very possibly made by Bergmann although it is not signed. It features the most wonderful pair of rabbits. One is holding a fabulous carrot in its mouth. The expressions on the rabbits faces are so full of life and the details on their fur is wonderful. They are such a delightful pair! The rabbits are 2 1/2 inches (6 cm) tall and 2 inches (5 cm) wide. The bronze is solid.
