About the Item
This stunning pair of 1920s folding 14 Karat White Gold Lorgnette Spectacles feature 2 lenses that fold over one another and lock into place to create a magnifying glass. A small pull lever at the top of the handle releases the lenses et voila, a pair of spectacles. The lens glass is in excellent shape and is framed by decoratively etched 14 karat white gold. The handle has a delicate filigree pattern. These lovely lorgnette spectacles comes in a leather Lowry & Joyce Hartford case. We believe this may be the original case and manufacturer. Spectacular! These Lorgnette Folding Spectacles make the perfect gift for the person who has everything.
