About the Item

This ring is one of the Sculptural / Architectural jewellery pieces created by Argentinian/Canadian artist Dina González Mascaró. This ring is part of the explorations that the artist did, calling the series: "Simple folded ". A geometric exercise consisting of cutting the rings in two and antagonizing the two different geometrics forms. In this piece you can see a curved edge and a straight edge either side of a circle folded toward each other. Simple action to create a complex form. Designed to embrace the outside / independent fingers with a sculptural form. Inside the ring its engraved: "this is sculpture" remarking the unique characteristics of the ring: a sculpture where the space to be placed is on the human body. The ring has a shiny finishing interrupted by light scratches to let the light show some texture. This ring is an 18K yellow gold ring , its weight is 18 grams. The artist can offer the simple folded ring in a limited edition. The ring can be made to suit several different ring sizes.
