About the Item
This ring is one of the Sculptural / Architectural jewellery created by Argentinian/Canadian artist Dina González Mascaró. This ring is part of the explorations that the artist did , calling the series: "folded " . A geometric exercise consisting of cutting the rings in two and
antagonizing the two different geometrics forms. In this piece you can see a curved, sloped and bevel edges faceting the inside and outside faces of the ring. The curved shapes relate to the body. Another example of DinaGM's simple actions made to create a complex but unified form. Designed to embrace the outside / independent fingers with a sculptural form. Inside the ring its engraved: "this is sculpture" remarking the unique characteristics of the ring: a sculpture where the space to be placed is on the human body. The ring has a shiny finishing interrupted by light scratches to let the light show some texture. This ring is an 18K yellow gold ring , its weight is 17.5 grams.
