About the Item

A lush, succulent lavender jade ring from the Mid-century (circa 1960s) like no other. This one-of-a-kind handmade ring features a huge (23.48 x 17.44 x 11.81) double cabochon of luminous, pristine natural and untreated lavender jadeite jade from Burma. The gemmy stone is prong set atop a hand-fabricated 14K white gold mounting that is both dramatic and glamorous. The lavender jade cabochon is surrounded at the base by a double hal,o of diamonds -28 in the inner halo, 36 in the outer- along with ten baguette east and west. The total diamond weight is approximately 1.25-carats. The diamonds do a spectacular job of framing the jade and not competing with it. This impossibly gorgeous ring was entirely handmade from solid 18K white gold wire. The undercarriage is a thing of beauty itself and allows light to flood the stone from underneath and the sides. The jade seems to float among the diamonds. Almost certainly American in origin, there is no maker's mark to be seen. A bold, incredibly impressive statement ring you will adore. Currently a size 5.5, your jeweler could easily resize this for you. The ring ships with a certificate from Stone Group Labs stating that the jade is untreated jadeite from Burma (Myanmar).
