    An historic medium size` 18 Kt and diamond ring, as good as it gets, was made by John Linnet. Linnet was renown for fine and delicate work. He made jewelry for Queen Victoria. The ring is a standout. This ring is hallmarked for 1822, London with the makers mark JL. It is enamel on gold with a curved square frame and centered by a diamond. The diamond is like a framed portrait that stands out on the black background. It is 05 cts. with a North Star twinkle. In its setting the size can only be estimated. The shank engraved all around states In Memory of. Inside the inscription tells some history about Miss Jane Fitzherbert. She was deceased October 11 1822 at age 65. Think of this She was born in 1757!!! That is jewelry history...
