About the Item
A mid-weight 4 mm wide 18K gold shank is graced with multiple intertwined large and small swirls in this wonderful example of the wax carvers artistry. A nice interplay of gleaming curves and shadows on the hand. This particular ring is size 7, but we also have this ring in sizes 6.5, and 8. It can also be easily resized by your local jeweler, as the carved design does not extend all the way to the bottom side. Let us know which size you want. Sweet!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
