An Edwardian sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the cushion-shaped faceted sapphire weighing 3.63 carats accompanied by GCS report stating to be of Burmese origin with no indication of heating, four double claw-set to the centre of a diamond-embellished octagonal border and diamond-set shoulders, the thirty-eighth single-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 1/3 carat in total, all millegrai-set to a platinum and gold mount with an openwork gallery and D-section shank, circa 1910, measuring 2.1 x 1.3 cm, finger size Q, gross weight 3.8 grams.
This antique ring is in very good condition. Unmarked, tested as platinum and 18ct gold.
