A sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the oval faceted sapphire weighing 8.32 carats, accompanied by GCS Report stating to be of Sri Lankan origin with no indications of heating, surrounded by fourteen round brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 1.4 carats in total, all claw-set to yellow gold mount with knife-edge shoulders, hallmarked 18ct gold London 1989, the head measuring approximately 1.8x1.5cm, gross weight 7.2 grams. Finger size L This ring is in excellent condition. This splendid sapphire and diamond ring features an impressive central sapphire of a deep blue shade weighing 8.32 carats. The gorgeous sapphire is surrounded by a frame of lively diamonds, which twinkle wonderfully and add to the romance of this piece. This large sapphire and diamond ring is reminiscent of the iconic engagement ring worn first by Diana, Princess of Wales and currently worn by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Unlike the royal engagement ring, this ring features a yellow gold setting which provides a romantic and warm complement to the romantic blue of the central stone.
