About the Item
A large 10 x 12 mm oval faceted Zambian emerald rests in a "wire and jawan v-bezel" setting with substantial triple spirals and "jawan" band around, all in matte-finish. A great contrast between green and gold. This ring is sized 7. It is resizable. A really nice weight and feel with this impressive emerald!

After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
