From the Kent Raible limited edition 'Studio Collection' we bring you our favorite 'Cigar Band' style ring of all time! It's got it all in perfect detailing.... We see the larger basic shape with lovely curves, then, a second band that wraps the first, culminating in two smaller oval gemstones! Can you imagine how this ring would look without that interior band? Well, that's the difference, the thing that sets Kent's work apart! All that subtle detailing that is perfectly balanced! Bringing it all together is Kent's museum quality gold granulation. The soft glow of Moonstone is paired here with the blue/purple hue of Tanzanite. Lovely! *PLEASE NOTE: The image taken in the workshop, outside of the light box is included to help show the true colors of the Moonstone. The light box, although wonderful for showing the gold details without reflections, the bright lights coming from every direction drown out the soft blue and gold colors of the moonstone. Kent Raible's ‘Studio Collection’: These works are inspired by some of Kent's favorite one-of-a-kind pieces. They are created to be just as beautiful as his bespoke work, but by repeating the design, become more affordable. An original piece is fabricated by the artist, and is then molded and cast in 18karat gold. The castings are then finished and granulated by hand. The assembly, stone setting, chain weaving, clasp mechanisms, and finish work are done by the artist himself, and his personally trained goldsmiths. Each limited edition piece, although beginning from the same mold is slightly different; varied stones, granule patterns and other touches make each piece unique.
