A fine 0.24 carat natural ruby and 0.25 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold, 18 karat white gold set dress ring; part of our contemporary jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This contemporary ruby and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting. The pierced decorated square setting displays five claw / prong set modern brilliant round cut diamonds displayed in a cross formation. Four round cut natural rubies accent the four outer corners of the square shaped design. The flared elevated ring shoulders are accented with a recessed central portion which blends seamlessly with the substantial hallmarked shank. The interior of the shank is clearly hallmarked with the 18k fineness mark 750, the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head), the gold guarantee mark (crown) and date letter for 2003 (D).
