Natural Untreated 14.50 Carat Sapphire Diamond Ring Set in Platinum
About the Item
A natural untreated 14.50 carat sapphire diamond ring set in platinum.
This truly stunning ring is set to its centre with an exceptional oval cut sapphire of approximately 14.5 carats, which is securely set into a handmade, intricately designed yellow gold rubover and gently contrasting platinum millegrain rose cut diamond cluster ring.
The sapphre has a desirable vibrant cornflower blue colour, adding to this, it is a natural untreated Ceylon sapphire certified as such by the industry respected Gemmological Certification Services of Bond Street, London.
The sapphire is perfectly framed by a trapezoid cut diamond either side for a total weight of 0.62 carats, estimated as G colour, VS1 clartity.
The sapphire and diamond cluster is mounted within a fine pieced out fretwork when viewed from the side, allowing light to filter through the sapphire and making for an excellent return of colour intensity, fire and brilliance.

Diamonds: 0.62 carats known weight, estimated as G colour VS1 clarity
Platinum - unstamped but tested.

The ring is currently a UK finger size M 1/2 (USA size 6.25) but this can be resized for a perfect fit.
In addition to the laboratory report from The Gemmological Certification Services of Bond Street, the ring is also accompanied by a complimentary valuation for insurance and authenticity.
Condition Overall the condition of the ring is very good, with some slight abrasions to the surface of the platinum, in keeping with its general age.
