Circa 1970s, 18k, by Paul Binder, Zurich, Switzerland. Set with a lush amethyst surrounded by .40 carats of fine white diamonds (G color, VS clarity), this effortlessly chic Swiss Modern ring has an edgy visual vibrancy. Particularly of note is the highly dimensional form and delicately hand-applied texturing. Paul Binder was renowned as the finest Swiss goldsmith of his generation. His original shop was in Winterthur; he later relocated to Zurich. Excellent condition.
