Rare Natural 1ct Carat Tsavorite Garnet Diamond Ring Art Deco Style 9ct Gold
About the Item
Presenting this intricately designed dress ring.
It features a 1.08ct natural, Tsavorite Garnet that is graded 'medium green'. Surrounding the centre stone is a row of French Cut Tsavorites that replicate the 'Art Deco' style. Surrounding the Tsavorites is another row of Diamonds and further Diamonds down the shoulders, just to complete the look.
The gemstones are natural and unheated with some typical inclusions that are unique to this type of Garnet. We have tried to capture this in the photos and you can see them with the naked eye. The Diamonds weigh approximately .34ct and to be honest, they are lower quality, graded colour H-L and clarity SI1-I3, but they do add sparkle and contrast to the piece.
The ring is crafted in 9ct yellow gold and it sits quite low on the finger, about 3mm, so it's perfect to wear everyday.
The discerning buyer will appreciate the huge amount of work and skill that went into making this unique piece.
The qualities of the Tsavorite Garnet rivals the beauty of the Emerald and has been kept mostly hidden from the general public since it was discovered in 1967 due its rarity.
The ring weighs 4.12 grams and is size N which is resizable. An Australia Valuation Certificate with a Retail Replacement Value of $5,673 is included in the sale.
