What do you know about Pavlovo Posad shawls? This is a large part of Russian culture, which originated in the 17th century. They are large patterned scarves, which are usually presented as a gift to brides, and then inherited. Famous ornaments arose from everyday peasant life: here there are flowers, carved patterns of platbands and spinning wheels, homespun embroidery, and elements of iconography.
Our designers tried to convey all the beauty and diversity of these pieces of art in the collection "A’la Russe".
The most popular coloring of Pavlovo Posad shawls is flowers. Look at this perfect combination of Multicolored Enamel with a scattering of 60 Rubies, 3 Yellow Sapphires, and 18K Yellow Gold. At the edges of the "shawl" as in the original, you can see the "tassels" in the form of 7 Sapphire Briolettes weighing 2.09 Ct.
