A lustrous black fresh water ??? 10mm Mabe pearl is set in classic large/small twist wire 18K gold bezel with a handmade sterling twisted wire shank . An expensive look from above, as the sterling shank is not really seen. Beautiful contrast between the blue-black of the pearl and the gold surrounding! This ring is sized 6.5. It is not easily re-sizable.

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age.
