Massive cocktail ring designed by Garrard & Co. An amazing oversized cocktail ring, created in London England by the jewelry house of Garrard & Co. back in the late 20th century. This gorgeous ring was crafted with bold look in white gold of 18 karats and a round bezel in yellow gold that is holding a gorgeous natural blue star sapphire of twenty-nine carats. The ring is very heavy, massive, daring and one hundred and twenty-five grams of solid gold were used in its making. Sapphire: Mount in the center in a bezel setting, with 1 round cabochon cut (16.1 x 16.2 x 12.5 mm) of a natural star sapphire of 29.12 carats. The sapphire is gem quality, display a great asterism, is from Burmese origin and is not heated. Diamonds: Mount on the sides in flush settings, with 2 round brilliant cut diamonds, 1 carat, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity. Birthstone: Sapphire for the month of September.
