Belle Époque 1.10 Carat Canary Sapphire Platinum Ring
About the Item
This Belle Époque Sapphire Ring features a central Round cut 1.10 carat Natural Canary Yellow Sapphire at 5.9mm in diameter, securely set in a 4-Prong setting. With a total of 8 Nearly Colorless Nearly Flawless Round Brilliant cut Accent Diamonds totaling 0.16 carats ranking an F-G Color & VVS1-VVS2 Clarity - 2 Bezel set at North + South points of Sapphire, 4 Prong set tucked underneath at each corner of Sapphire, & 2 immediate side accents in Marquise-shaped designs resembling an Egyptian motif of a Cat's eye.
With a continuous design Eternity band, both hand engraved and hand chased. This ring incorporates all three periods: Belle Époque, Victorian & Art Deco - quite rare to find characteristics of all three in one piece.
Furthermore, this Canary Yellow is the most desirable [natural] color in the Sapphire family .. [approximately 90% of Canary Yellow Diamonds as well as Canary Yellow Sapphires today are lab-created, not naturally mined from the earth] .. Yellow sapphires account for only 10% in the color spectrum of Sapphires today.
With very light to moderate wear. A durable, practical everyday piece suitable as an engagement ring, or otherwise desired.
Stamped "PLAT" inside shank.
