A charming antique Victorian 9cr gold and hairwork mourning ring.
A beautiful Victorian piece in a nice classic design.
The face of the ring has a small oval glazed locket panel enclosing a lock of brown tightly woven hair.
The shoulders have a decorative engraved design and it has a smooth polished band.
A charming antique mourning ring with stacks of character.
Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, Chester assay office, 1895, Victorian era.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear and signs of use, some scratches and dulling to the glazed panel, slight thinning to the band.
