Art Deco Pocket Flask Sterling Silver Enamel Egyptian Revival Camel Palm Tree

THIS IS A STUNNING AND RARE ART DECO LARGE SIZE POCKET FLASK IN STERLING SILVER AND ENAMEL WITH AN EGYPTIAN REVIVAL MOTIF OF A CAMEL AND PALM TREE. This is a very special and rare pocket flask. Flasks really do not get better than this. The flask has magnificent Art Deco style and design with its hand hammered finish and the elegant clean line image of the camel and palm tree in black enamel within a raised cartouche. The flask is elegance and festivity personified. Clearly when you have a nip with this stunning flask you will be well rewarded! The sterling cap has cork in the top and a wonderful locking mechanism. The top has a groove which fits into a nob on the lower portion. When the top is closed the lid can be turned to lock the flask closed so that nothing spills as this lays in your pocket! The flask is signed Sterling, with the owners's initials (EEB), 308, and 813 5/8 PT. The flask dates to circa 1880-1930. The flask is 7 inches (17.5 cm) tall and 4 inches (10 cm) wide. The front is monogrammed with EEB. There are very light surface scratches consistent with the age of the flask.
