Pair of Nautilus Shell Silverplated Candlesticks
About the Item
Pair of jumbo nautilus shells in ornate silver candlestick holders, circa 1950s or 1960s. These vintage candlesticks are silverplated, each featuring removable nautilus shells measuring approximately 8" x 5", with silver wrapped edges. The candle holder frame has a circular fluted base with black felt on the underside. The removable nautilus shell loosely fits in a leaf design seat from which an arched arm extends up to tulip style candle holder. Overall height of approximately 14.5".
