Martele by Gorham Silver Six Piece Coffee and Tea Service with Tray 1905-1907
About the Item
Martele by Gorham coffee and tea service. Consisting of a hot water kettle-on-stand, coffeepot, teapot, two handled sugar bowl, cream jug, waste bowl, and two handled tray. Each baluster form body having a hammered surface chased with floral sprays below an undulating everted rim. The complimentary tray with two cut-out handles. Each piece is impressed with a factory mark, spreadwing eagle, "Martele", and ".9584"; the hot water kettle and stand impressed with "LPO", the tray "IAW" and the remainder "H/XC". Burner ubit is not Martele. Length of the tray is 27.00 inches(68.60cm). Total gross weight 319.50 oz.
