Important antique silver cutlery service with storage cabinet

About the Item

Antique silver, mother-of-pearl, and ivory cutlery service consisting of 177 pieces. It is contained in a special wooden cabinet. On the cabinet as on each flatware is the initial "R". All cutlery is punched with the identifying marks of early twentieth-century English production. Precisely, the cutlery service was made in the city of Sheffield in 1904 by Joseph Rogers & Sons. Can serve 12 places at the table with: 24 large table knives, 24 large table forks, 12 table knives, 12 table forks, 12 table spoons, 12 table spoons, 12 dessert forks, 12 dessert spoons, 12 dessert knives, 12 fish forks, 12 fish knives. Serving cutlery is added: 5 cutlery for meat and game, 6 teaspoons, 6 spoons, 2 sauce ladles, 2 walnut cutlery. The title of the silver is sterling, so 925 thousandths.
