Dutch sterling silver spoon imported to London, England, circa 1895. Beautiful repousse design bowl, featuring a hunting scene, figural handle. Measures approx 5 3/4" long, 1 3/4" wide at widest point of bowl. Weighs 25.7g, 16.5dwt Marked with English import marks on the bowl: SBL (Samuel Boyce Landeck importer) lion (sterling silver) u (date mark for 1895) F (Foreign mark) leopard (London city mark). Also marked with Dutch marks on the back of the handle: R hammer (S & H Reitsma), lion (silver standard) key (export mark) Very good condition with some light tarnish and slight surface scratches. Will come packaged in a gift box or pouch (when possible)
