Gorgeous and timeless cocktail ring circa 1950s. Truly an unique yellow golden ring, captured by a smokey quarts. The decorative setting is made of 18 carat yellow gold with a baguette cut smokey quarts. This quarts has a beautiful deep color brown that is ideal for an occasion or just wear it every day. Look closely at the pictures to discover all the nicely crafted golden details. This preloved jewel weighs about 6.5 grams and the ring size is 18 (Europe), 8 (US). The smokey quarts measures about 15 mm x 135 mm. This beautiful ring has an European origine and is in mint condition. The weight of the stone, color grade is approximate since the stone is not removed from its mounts, this to preserve the integrity of the setting. Gemstones are commonly treated to enhance colour or clarity. This has not been examined for this jewel. We have closely checked the setting and the stones of this ring. The turtle's shell and body have been crafted from fine and impressive carved smoky quartz; the quartz shell has been carved to represent the pattern of a realistic turtle shell. The impressive smoky quartz is conjoined to the brooch mount via an 18k yellow gold rope twist design around the turtle's neck and a plain band encompassing the tail. The vintage brooch secures to the reverse with a hallmarked hinged pin and clasp fastening.
