The decoration of a classic Fifth Avenue apartment. A striking palette of black and white accented with several shades of green unifies the lush decorative scheme in each of the well-appointed rooms. The gallery’s grisaille-toned “Scenes of Italy” wallpaper, the Living Room’s mirrored chimneybreast, and an array of lustrous, shimmery fabrics throughout the home – along with an edited selection of formal furniture styles – exude glamour, refinement and charm. A lattice-patterned rug from an historic Frances Elkins project inspired the dining room’s custom needlepoint carpet.
