Manhattan Beach

This is a newly-built family home just blocks from the beach. The clients didn’t want it to be beachy or theme-y; their goal was grace and elegance with a nod toward casual, family living. I used the beach as inspiration for the palette, which was made up of soft blues, grays, sands and white. For the more formal spaces, I introduced black wood finishes for high contrast. Preppy ticking stripes meet luxurious linens throughout.
