Inflatable Baby (in original Pop Shop Box)
Located in New York, NY
Keith Haring Inflatable Baby (in original Pop Shop Box), 1985 Inflatable Vinyl Figure Authorized artist signature on outside of box. 6 × 6 9/10 × 2 1/5 inches Unframed Keith Haring’s Pop Shops were born out of the artist’s desire to make his whimsical aesthetic accessible to the widest audience possible. “I wanted it to be a place where, yes, not only collectors could come, but also kids from the Bronx,” Haring said of the Pop Shops. The street artist opened two Pop Shops—one in Manhattan in 1986 and another in Tokyo in 1987—where art, clothes, posters, other ephemera, and drawings by peers like Jean-Michel Basquiat could be purchased at affordable prices. Haring painted floor to ceiling murals at both boutiques, creating an immersive environment for visitors to browse and enjoy his beloved art. Today, Haring enthusiasts make the pilgrimage to see the original New York Pop Shop ceiling installed in the entryway of the New York Historical Society. This Keith Haring vinyl inflatable sculpture comes with the original screen printed box. This is the piece that was originally sold at Keith Haring's Pop Shop. Although the exact edition number is unknown, there were only a limited number of works created and sold by Haring in the Pop Shop - so these pieces are considered desirable collectors' items and are quite scarce - especially in such good condition with original box. Artwork shown inflated but actually comes uninflated and new in the vintage box...

To Earl and Camilla, Love Andy Warhol
Located in New York, NY
Andy Warhol To Earl and Camilla, Love Andy Warhol, 1979 Original Heart Drawing held in book with unique dedication to Earl and Camilla McGrath (Signed Twice by Andy Warhol) The original dedicated Warhol drawing is boldly signed by Warhol. The book is also signed by Warhol on the cover. 11 1/2 × 9 1/2 inches Wonderful provenance! We would not acquire or sell drawing in a signed Warhol book without knowing the provenance was irrefutable. This is one of them. Makes a memorable and unique gift. This is a signed drawing of a heart, with a beautiful dedication from Andy Warhol to Earl and Camilla McGrath - art and entertainment impresarios. Warhol writes: "To Earl and Camilla love. Andy Warhol" - on the title page of the hardback monograph "Exposures". The book is also hand signed in marker on the cover - as well! What makes this work even more collectible is that Earl McGrath is even featured in this book - his photograph is reproduced on page 11 of "Exposures". (!!) About the recipients Camilla and Earl McGrath: Camilla McGrath (nee Countess Camilla Pecci-Blunt), wife of art dealer, entertainment executive and impresario Earl McGrath. This work was acquired from the Estate of Earl and Camilla McGrath. (Camilla died in 2007. and Earl died in 2016 at the age of 84.) In remembering Earl McGrath for Vanity Fair magazine, Warhol's editor and confidant Bob Colacello interviewed the many celebrities and artists who adored McGrath: "He was the last of a breed, one of the last great gentlemen and bohemians,” says Harrison Ford.."; He was the funniest man I have ever known,” declares Jerry Hall, whose friendship with McGrath went back to 1975, when she was the girlfriend of Bryan Ferry and he was vice president of Atlantic Records. “He also had a huge heart and was a magnet for us all in New York and Los Angeles.”; “Earl was so brilliantly irreverent,” says Anjelica Huston, who credits McGrath with introducing her to her late husband, the sculptor Robert Graham, who showed at his Los Angeles gallery; “He wasn’t always the jokester,” notes Brice Marden, who frequently dined tête-à-tête with McGrath. “He also had a keen eye and a kind of natural wisdom, albeit with a slightly warped attitude towards things. I just found him a really good person to hang out with. Whenever I had some deep question, I always wanted to consult Earl. It was reassuring to hear what he had to say.”...So who was this Earl McGrath? Unknown to the general public (and liking it that way), he was very well known to the very well known, the ultimate insider equally at home in the upper echelons of music, art, letters, and entertainment. Among the regulars who flocked to the salon-like lunches and dinners he and his wife, Countess Camilla Pecci-Blunt, a descendant of Pope Leo XIII, gave at their apartment across from Carnegie Hall and their house in West Hollywood were Andy Warhol; Mick Jagger; Gore Vidal; Audrey Hepburn; Anita Loos; Cy Twombly; Larry Rivers; Francesco and Alba Clemente; Prince Rupert Loewenstein; Connie Wald; Wendy Stark; Michelle Phillips; Julian Sands; Annie Leibovitz; Jann and Jane Wenner; Sonny and Gita Mehta; Terry Southern; Fernanda Eberstadt; Wes Anderson; Prince Michael of Greece and his wife, Marina Karella...

American, b. 1970 "Pitliuk has created a style that will endear him to those who venture into the collection of modern art; it challenges the intellect and tickles the funny bone at the same time." --Sharon Lorenzo - Art Historian "Artist Stephen Pitliuk introduces something bold to the island... [his] Pop Art stands out on an island inundated with landscape paintings." "Pitliuk, an island resident for [seven] years, comes to us from Miami, Florida. His work hangs in many private and corporate collections throughout the country... [The] vibrant colors and the rhythm of his native South Florida are definitely reflected in his work. His latest pieces, which burst through the prosaic treadmill of the New England art scene with a vengeance, bring anything from a raised eyebrow, to hysterical laughter to the viewer. Politically incorrect at best, and always with a smile, a balance of humor and commentary as an art form that is very often attempted and very rarely succeeds. In this case though, it has. Pitliuk's latest body of work seems to have hit the bull's eye of what makes Nantucketers tick. A fantastic mix of Post Modern meets Pop, meets Dadaism, meets Jean Michael...

Vibrant, large-scale multimedia artworks incorporate reflective mediums and thick textures in Kate Tova's recent work. Colors splash across the page melding into flourishes of sequins, rhinestones, and glitter. The natural beauty of her subjects is juxtaposed against the "engine of technology" inspiring personal and innovative compositions. Surreal and vibrant, Tova's work thematically and stylistically layers her life experiences. This 37-inch high by 72-inch artwork is a hand-embellished giclee on canvas. Hand-embellishment involves the application of additional paint or other materials onto the surface of the giclee print by the artist. By adding these personalized touches, the hand-embellished giclee becomes a one-of-a-kind piece. The artwork is signed by the artist on the front and the back. Free local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included with this unique work. Bringing forth inspiration from her varied experiences Tova is inspired by the layers of her life's experiences. From the lavishly gilded architecture of her early years to the vibrant palette of New Orleans, Tova now works in San Fransisco where themes of her work draw from technology and the Information Era. Kate has earned awards and critical acclaim participating in art exhibitions in Vienna, Berlin, New York, Prague and other cities around the world. Tova’s commissions have ranged from ceiling and wall murals in Moscow restaurants to live painting performances at fundraisers and venues such as the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Her art has appeared on the covers of foreign music records, been published in international magazines, and even inspired a jewelry collection. "Your Own Heart" unique signed, colleague of Warhol, Haring, Basquiat & Scharf
Located in New York, NY
Ronnie Cutrone Your Own Heart, 1987 Watercolor and Silkscreen on Paper Signed, dated and numbered from the edition of 7, with each work being unique. 40 × 30 inches Fantastic vintage classic 1980s Ronnie Cutrone Watercolor and Screenprint on Paper. From an edition of 7 with each work being unique. There is a very slight pinhole to the top corners which will frame out, otherwise in very good condition Unframed Ronnie Cutrone (July 10, 1948 – July 21, 2013) was an American pop artist known for his large-scale paintings of some of America's favorite cartoon characters, such as Felix the Cat, Pink Panther, Woody Woodpecker and No Glove No Love. Cutrone's paintings are colorful, lively, and less challenging than those of his contemporaries. As Andy Warhol's assistant at the Factory atop the Decker Building from 1972 until 1980, Cutrone worked with Warhol on paintings, prints, films, and other concepts, eventually co-opting Warhol's earliest work (pre-1960) as well as works by Roy Lichtenstein and others, until finally distilling those myriad influences into the style a few critics eventually labeled "Post-Pop." He exhibited at the Niveau Gallery in 1979 with a Scottish artist called Mike Gall who showed paintings of Snoopy, Mickey and Minnie mouse, the Pink Panther and also a small series of Peter Rabbit paintings...

Some Los Angeles Apartments - True, Stated 1st Edition of only 700 Artist Book
Located in New York, NY
Ed Ruscha Some Los Angeles Apartments (Unsigned), 1965 True First Edition Artist Book: Stated Limited Edition of only 700 7 × 5 1/2 inches Unframed A rare and elusive 1960s Artist Book. Makes a terrific gift. This is a TRUE 1965 1st Edition of only 700 stated copies. (NOT to be confused with the second edition in 1970 which was published in a much larger edition of 3000 and NOT to be confused with an eponymous 1990 Whitney Museum publication.) A must have for Ruscha Fans. SOME LOS ANGELES APARTMENTS. Los Angeles: Self-Published, 1965. True First Edition Printed Wrappers with Glassine. Original Artist's Book. This marvelous vintage 1965 48 page book features 34 black and white illustrations and is in surprisingly fine condition. "Some Los Angeles Apartments" is Ed Ruscha's third artist book - a wry yet heartfelt photographic survey of the subtle beauty of the post-war Southern California rental property construction boom. A spectacularly bright, most handsome example of the uncommon 1965 first edition (entry B3 in Siri Engberg's "Edward Ruscha: Editions 1959-1999" which is also cited on page 141 of Martin Parr and Gerry Badger's "The Photobook: A History Volume II", pages 198-201 of The Hasselblad Center's "The Open Book", page 105 of "From Fair to Fine 2", and page 226 of "From Fair to Fine 3") limited to seven hundred unnumbered copies. This is an exceptional example of this important little gem that is often confused with the 1990 Whitney Museum exhibition catalogue of virtually the same title. "In the 1960s, Ed Ruscha more or less reinvented the artist’s book. By turning away from the craftsmanship and luxury status that typified the livre d’artiste in favor of the artistic idea or concept, expressed simply through photographs and text, Ruscha opened the genre to the possibilities of mass-production and distribution. Some Los Angeles Apartments, with its straightforward presentation of modern California domestic buildings, celebrated the vernacular architecture of Southern California." The Getty Museum "....It's perhaps fitting that Ed Ruscha - one of the central figures in late 20th century photography - does not consider himself a photographer. "I think photography is dead as a fine art," he told John Coplans...

Deluxe Signed Edition of Film Festival Lincoln Center (Feldman & Schellmann, II.
Located in New York, NY
Andy Warhol Deluxe Signed Edition of Film Festival Lincoln Center (Feldman & Schellmann, II.19), 1967 Silkscreen, die-cut on opaque acrylic Edition 2/200 (Signed and numbered on the back with engraving pen) Hand-signed by artist, As this work was done on acrylic, Warhol signed and numbered it by hand on verso with an engraving needle. Stamped and dated with copyright Frame included: Elegantly framed in a museum quality wood frame with UV plexiglass. A die-cut window has been created in the back of the frame to reveal Warhol's incised signature and edition Publisher: Leo Castelli, New York Printer: Chiron Press, New York Catalogue Raisonne: Feldman & Schellmann, II.19 This work is often hung and displayed both vertically and horizontally - see photos for inspiration This work is one of only 200 done on opaque acrylic rather than wove paper, signed and numbered on the opaque acrylic by Andy Warhol with an engraving pen. (Separately, there was an unsigned edition of 500 on wove paper). What distinguishes this rare, extremely desirable signed edition of 200, other than that it is signed and numbered by hand by Andy Warhol, is that the black graphic text FIFTH NEW YORK is placed directly over the text Film Festival of Lincoln Center; whereas in the edition of 500, the text black text FIFTH NEW YORK is placed on top of the white text. An innovative feature that appears in this special edition is a perforated line running across the surface of the print, at its triangular cut out sides, mimicking the tear line present in real commercial movie admissions tickets. Chiron Press commissioned by Lincoln Center, devised a special process expressly to imprint the edition with this perforation using a die cut stamp. This work is quintessential early Warhol, with characteristic bright neon colors, featuring text, along with the artist's very recognizable flower motif. The Lincoln Center ticket simultaneously reflects Warhol's central preoccupations with commercial culture (the ticket is, par excellence, an object that is bought and sold), as well as his fascination with Hollywood - as the ticket, quite literally, represents an entree into the world of film. Warhol's appropriation of the flower - an otherwise sentimental and decorative motif, transforming it into a symbol of the Pop Art movement, is a hallmark of his early style and innovations. Andy Warhol's vibrant vintage color silkscreen Lincoln Center Ticket from the fabulous Sixties is considered one of the more iconic and recognizable Warhol images. It is also one of Warhol's earliest prints. The Vera List...
