In his Fils I Colors series he attempts to find the third dimension through the use of different materials. In many cases, the different layers of color each represent a temporary state of mind, time, and even feelings, places, and people. To represent the firmness and strength of that past the cotton is mixed with the paint in the works to form a unity.
