About the Item

Useful Object Pump, 2009 Oil on canvas, wooden box, pump 47.63 H x 27.55 W x 11.81 D in 121 H x 70 W x 30 D cm In the "Useful Objects" series, the woman is identified with the product which she is supposed to promote, to sell. The Woman -The Temptation becomes a promoting object and common objects convert through promotion into unique objects. Mihai Florea equally satirizes, through his works, the one who produces the commercial as the one who promotes and consumes it. Almost all the time the image of the product is accompanied or presented by a female model that has the perfect 90-60-90 cm body measures. The image of the female model sells the commercial product. The Woman – The Temptation is the one who seduces the consumer to buy the product. She has the role of tempting, to attract potential clients. Each painting has attached a useful object like a knife, an umbrella, a grater, a dust remover, a gas lamp.

Dark-Town - Mixed Media Painting Colors Yellow White Black Red Purple
By Vlado Vesselinov
Located in Sofia, BG
"Dark-Town" is a painting by Maestro Vlado Vesselinov. About the painting: Style and Technic: POP ART, Contemporary, Acrylic, Oil on canvas The painting is unframed. “The impressions of artist's paintings on the viewer is so mighty, mesmerizing, grand, that it paralyzes the imagination and leaves no option. His paintings bring emotion of happiness, love, energy and beauty represented by the vast creative power of his talent.” Maestro Vesselinov has track records of multiples exhibitions. His works are owned in privet collections around the word. Painting of the Bulgarian artist Vlado Vesselinov is a great example that the vintage style prevails lately and is also present in the world of contemporary art. The work of Vesselinov should be read as an expression of nostalgia and fascination with the past - fashion, design and pop culture of the 60s. A characteristic feature of these images is a clearly visible texture of the canvas, which remind us pages that someone snatched from a fashion magazine found in the attic. It's similar to the effect used by Quentin Tarantino in his recent productions, where full of dirt and defects film reels pulls the audience in a unique atmosphere of a Drive-in theater. As for the colors of Vesselinov artworks, he clearly refers to the psychedelic record covers of Jimi Hendrix or Jefferson Airplaine. Vlado Vesselinov born in 1977 Bulgaria Solo exhibitions: 1998 – solo exhibition, Kyustendil, Bulgaria 1999 – solo exhibition – Gallery Kovachev, Kyustendil, Bulgaria 2000 – solo exhibition – Art Gallery "Vladimir Dimitrov...
