About the Item

This is the original invitation card for the Cagli's solo-exhibition "Il Disegno Moderno" hold at Studio A gallery in Rome, via del Babuino n.76 and inaugurated on 5th May 1964. Including the original envelope on letterhead. An autograph card of invitation by Cagli to the Countess Pecci Blunt is attached. Precious to understand the frendly relationship between the Italian artist and his mentor, the Countess Pecci Blunt, these items with all the details of the Cagli's projects and exhibitions are incredible source of information for the historian of arts and connaisseur! Background: After the experience at the Galleria La Cometa, of the Countess Anna Laetitia Pecci Blunt, directed by Libero De Libero and by Cagli himself, inaugurated with a Cagli solo- exhibition in 1935, the Italian artist will be always in touch with his mentor and fist promoter "Mimì" Blunt, as well as all Roman School artists.
