Drawing inspiration from a scene she sketched while visiting Sparta, TN, she illuminates nature's beauty through her use of an overlay of rich colors that intuitively builds on the complex designs which lie hidden beneath the scene.
Amanda Joy-Brown is a visual artist based in Nashville, TN. She received her MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has exhibited in the US and around the world.
