Radiating circular mandalas, precise dot matrices, and swirling geometric forms float over an organic green and pink ground, evoking star maps, botanical growth, and the unseen forces that structure our world. Known for her intricate, meditative paintings, Taiwanese-American artist Amy Cheng draws on sources ranging from Islamic ornament to Buddhist mandalas and contemporary abstraction.
