Charlie Bluett
Charlie Bluett's art works are driven by his overriding passion for Nature and the Natural world. It's ethereality, beauty , ebb and flow, as well and the light and color of the everyday. His contemporary abstract colorfield paintings focus on the natural scenes & objects we are exposed to within the Earth's vast and varied outdoor environments. Contours, tones, colors & natures balance feature heavily in his paintings, and capture the very essence of the natural world around us and the elements that combine to create it.
The changing surfaces, vibrant and ethereal color use, and the consistent subtle movement of form and mind within the works, is considered and yet fluid, challenging and yet totally at peace within itself. Bluett's pieces convey and allow the viewer to share in this highly personal journey and allow the veiwer to lose themselves in a moment of complete calm and peace, a moment of quiet serenity in a busy world. His works can be found in various Coroprate and Private Collections as well as commissioned public spaces throughout the world today. He currently works from his studio in Northern Vermont, a part of the endearing & inspirational North East Kingdom of the USA.

About Artist
Abiodun Nafiu Azeez is an accomplished artist with a diverse background in contemporary painting, particularly Osogbo art. However, his true passion lies in abstract expression, where he seeks to promote African art, culture, and nature. Influenced by his artist father, he paints to preserve memories and connect with broader societal concerns.
Abiodun's artistic style is characterized by the abstraction and simplification of human compositions. He employs vibrant oil colors, often focusing on primary colors that transition into secondary and tertiary hues. His subjects stand out against neutral backgrounds, creating a harmonious balance in his paintings. A prominent feature in his works is the use of red, blue, and yellow tones, subtly blended to emphasize form and shape.
His artistic journey includes training under renowned bead painting contemporary artist Jimoh Buraimoh...

"The Two Kinds of Life" is a thought-provoking artwork that eloquently portrays the intricate tapestry of existence, emphasizing the interconnected nature of all living things. The painting explores profound themes such as the value of life, the significance of our actions, and the inevitability of mortality.
In this artwork, the artist uses a blend of vivid and muted colours to represent the dual aspects of life: vibrancy and vitality on one hand, and the somber inevitability of death on the other. The vibrant areas of the painting might illustrate flourishing life, symbolizing joy, growth, and the potential for positive impact. These sections are interwoven with more subdued tones, representing the finite nature of life and the quiet approach to the end.
Through "The Two Kinds of Life," the artist conveys a message about the importance of making a meaningful impact while we are alive. It suggests that despite the inevitable end, the true measure of our lives lies in the legacy we leave behind, the lives we touch, and the positive changes we bring about in our world. This duality invites viewers to reflect on their own lives and consider how they can contribute to the world in a meaningful way before their time comes to an end.
In essence, "The Two Kinds of Life" is a poignant reminder of our mortality and a call to action. It urges us to appreciate the preciousness of life, to live fully, and to strive to make a positive difference, ensuring that the impact of our existence reverberates long after we are gone. This artwork not only captures the beauty and complexity of life but also serves as an inspiration to embrace our capacity for change and to live with intention and purpose.
