About the Item
This stunning street art inspired 3D painting is the first in a new series of works by up and coming Canadian visual artist Chris Solcz. Constructed of multiple layers of laser-cut wood, painted with acrylic, spray paint, resin and embellished with iridescent flake, Chris' creative process is heavily influenced by the idea of the flow state of mind, where he aims to intuitively express realms of consciousness and the subconscious visually.
“I try to take my inspirations at the time and compose them in the most visually energetic and abstract way possible as if to freeze that moment. I am also drawn to a lot of psychedelic imagery and music so that definitely plays a role in my aesthetics.”
