We are pleased to announce that we are now representing the large scale paintings of David Austin. The paintings of David Austin are a wonderful balance of emotion and design. When viewing his art you can sense the energy and thought that went into every element of the work. This large original painting on canvas titled "Head in My Clouds" measures 60x60", it is signed on the front and also on the back of the canvas. It is Acrylic paint, Oil pastel, gesso, spray paint and varnish on canvas backed with a thin layer of clear vinyl that gives a gentle surface texture to the painting..
When viewing the paintings of David Austin you see things happening. Every area of the painting is different, yet everything works together to create a harmonious work of art which is the brilliance of David Austin. It is as if there are many paintings within one painting yet they work together as one. The soft edges that are complimented by the hard edge shapes create the feeling that this painting exhibits.
