Paisley and floral patterned wall sculpture by Jessica Godisak (American, b. 1977). This dimensional piece is constructed of several wood forms joined together. There is empty space by the circular pieces, meaning that the wall will show through. Photos are shown against a white drop cloth to illustrate this effect. Titled and signed on verso.
Jessica Godisak (American, b. 1977) grew up in rural Michigan before leaving home to explore North America, including Guadalajara, Mexico, Phoenix, Arizona, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Godisak states, "My journey is what inspires my work. My pieces use wood and canvas to bring abstract and non-abstract images to real surfaces. I believe that art should complement space and color should inspire each environment."
