Georges Ferrato (born in 1949 in Aix-en-Provence) is perfect harmony: a universal substance, a resource that we need to fill existence with poetry, peace and construction. The self-taught artist, pushed by his entourage, has been exhibiting for several decades. A "sculptor of light" for the past fifty years, it was the emotion of a landscape in Provence that made him move from expressionist figuration to abstraction.

In 1980, when he arrived at abstraction, his line changed, a total freedom was established, and a new discovery emerged in his works. Colours, elements and materials will intertwine, it will be a new signature of the artist. His invigorating painting becomes food for the mind and heart.
